Nick was a lovely Guy if you went to see him feeling sad you always came away with a smile - he was a great connoisseur of many things a great foodie fantastic company always immaculately dressed everyone made an effort when you went out with him and his family you didn’t want to let the side down - loved the horses we had some fantastic and memorable race days and days out I bought my favourite jacket at one of our meetings so I always call it Nicks Jacket and everyone comments on it - he was a great gentleman in every way His grasp of world and current affairs was amazing we always agreed - I loved his optimism and bonhomie We will all miss him immensely a true and great friend and very brave - an example to us all Love Laurence Julie and Amber
